Hammond Manufacturing has been trusted by customers requiring dependable performance, a large product assortment, and durability in power distribution, racks, and enclosures for over a century.Hammond and Son in 1917. Between 1919 and 1927 it produced tube radio sets, battery chargers, and related devices, and by the 1950s and 1960s had become a significant provider of transformers, racks, cabinets, and enclosures for the electrical and electronic industries. Today Hammond is a publicly traded corporation on the Toronto Stock Exchange with a workforce of approximately 700 people, offices in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Taiwan, and a global network of agents and distributors serving electrical and electronic manufacturers, utilities, and institutions.

Our Approach

DI Group was engaged by Hammond Manufacturing to deliver a complete workplace transformation, providing the full scope of services to take a staff amenity project from site approval through physical completion — beginning with Site Plan Approval and Storm Water Management, then Civil Engineering, Architectural Design for the staff locker rooms and cafeteria, coordinated Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and Construction Management through to practical completion, with Furniture Procurement equipping the spaces for daily use.

Delivered for the daily experience of Hammond’s approximately 700-strong workforce, the project — now confirmed as closed and completed within the engagement scope — provides staff locker facilities and a cafeteria designed around operational needs. WDI Group led the engagement as the single point of contact, aligning planning, engineering, design, construction, and procurement under one accountable team.
